Finally finished. The original is in my scraps: [link] This took seven hours of straight work in Photoshop. Lineart alone took around 3, with some adjustments along the way, so around 3.5.

This is one of the last surviving fanarts that I created a decade ago. Not many of the sites that contained my old art are still around, and I didn't put much out to begin with since all I had to work with was MS Paint. But I created a fanart for Sailor Moon Z, an incredibly well-written fanfiction by John Biles and Jeff Hossmer, who were in college at the time I was reading it. A little over a year ago, the story was finally completed.

In honor of my fond memories of that story and the vast improvements in my art, I have recreated that drawing.

To this day, I'm not sure what Sailormoon is so bashful about, nor why Sailorodysseus looks so worried. In the original, I can safely say Naru is worried about the thunder thighs they have developed and wants to jog them off XD

This has no placement in the timeline of Sailor Moon Z. It's just what I drew when I drew it, and I've redone it now.

I used a pose reference from Pose Maniacs (one of the female running ones) to figure out Naru's general body structure as I usually don't draw people in action. The one I used is here: [link] Though as you can tell, I didn't perfect her stand, and it looks more like she's leaping than running (or she has an odd gait). I drew Usagi's pose freehand (I'M SURE YOU CAN TELL LULZ).

Also, Odysseus' earrings are too big. And I didn't add sparkles to her bows or shoes because at no point did the story seem to indicate they sparkled. I also kind of considered that to be sparkle overkill...

I hope they like this.
