Ref Sheet Sailorzero and Devil

A ref sheet for my Senshi versions of Ayanami Rei and Sohryu Askua Langley.

Rei is Sailorzero, Angel of Intellect and Distance, Soldier of Ice and Cold.

Asuka is Sailordevil, Angel of Vengeance and Punishment, Soldier of Fire.

I managed to bungle the lineart for Asuka, so although the sketch is more proportionate, this is a cleaner version.

For Rei, I really like how she turned out overall.

They both look a bit older than they should....

They are from a fanfiction I stopped writing a long time ago. Basically, at two points of great power being unleashed in the universe of Evangelion and that of Sailormoon (being Second Impact and when Queen Serenity sealed Metallia with the Silver Crystal), the two worlds split-off and part of their time streams permanently melded. Sailor Cosmos' soul was reborn there, and to give a rest to the girls who usually took up the mantle of Senshi, she awakened the spirits of five girls who had been remarkable women in their past lives, two of which were from the Evangelion universe - Asuke and Rei.

Rei's body was recreated in this timeframe as an Angel, but she basically defected.

Sailor Devil is the Sailor V of this world - Askua starts out as Sailor D, and arrives with Akuma, her guardian cat, later in the story.

The other three senshi are OCs that had positions in the Silver Millennium, and the last is Cosmos herself, reborn as Hoshino Chibi Chibi... a weaker version of herself. She's not able to access all of her power, so the story usually follows Sailorillumina and her team, consisting of Sailorrhapsody, Sailorzero, Sailordevil, and Sailordream.

These Senshi are not planatary, but rather focus on concepts - parts of the human soul and psyche. They are technically the true "angels", the opposite of the "Devils" Metallia possesses, which are kind of a combination of Youma and the Angels of Evangelion.

Overall it was a good story - I won awards from an anime convention for it - but it took too long to complete (I never finished it) and eventually stopped writing it.

I think about it sometimes though.
