Sailor Illumina Reference for SMV

Species (and description of species if not human) or Ethnicity (if human): Angelus in Human Form - Teruko technically was born with a background of Japanese, Hispanic, and American, which is why she is a little darker skinned with reddish brown hair.

Birthday: It was September 7 before she died and was reborn
Age: Illuminis is timeless, technically; but as Teruko she is around 20
Height: 5'8" (five foot eight inches, or 1.72 meters, if I calculated it right)
Special abilities: In civilian form she has extremely limited light manipulation, self-healing, and even more limited healing of others. Is attuned to crystals and prisms due to their relationship with light, and can feel/hear them. Can capture smaaaaaall amounts of light in crystals and channel light, but it causes intense fatigue.

Backstory: Illuminis is an Angelus or Angel, born of light. She is the sort of princess of Illumina, the plane of existence from where those angels who were born from the light of the universe formed consciousness. Illuminis is said to embody Hope, the belief that all living things can accomplish something wonderful.

After a series of tragic events, Illuminis' star seed is fractured, and she is reborn as Kawarinaku Teruko, who is granted the power to become Sailor Illumina by an alternate-universe Sailor Cosmos known as Sailor White Cosmos, and fights alongside her own Sailor Team, to battle the forces of Chaos. At the end of these battles, Illuminis' fractured Star Seed, while still not whole, is condensed into a Sailor Crystal for Illumina. However, she cannot return there until her Star Seed (soul) is healed.

So for now, Sailor White Cosmos, using her connection with her "original self" Sailor Cosmos, has sent her Sailor Crystal to Neo Queen Serenity in her originating plane of existence. Her hope is for Teruko/Illuminis to heal emotionally and spiritually, and strengthen herself so that when she is finally able to return to Illumina, she is able to stand tall and proud as a Sailor Senshi.

Sailor Illumina's powers have returned to a "basic" stage, as she is now technically the first "True" Sailor Illumina, with her own Sailor Crystal and powers from her home plane, instead of borrowing power from Cosmos.

Personality: As Teruko, Sailor Illumina is friendly, usually cheerful, and kind. However, she is prone to bouts of depression and uncertainty, as her existence as Teruko, in her mind, completely clashes with her existence as Illuminis. She has trouble grasping the fact that they are the same person, and still views Illuminis as a completely alien entity possessing her. This has lead to a constant anxiety, which leads her to seclude herself from others when she first enters the village.

When Illuminis takes control, which is extremely rare as she tries to suppress her consciousness so as not to accidentally overwhelm (or even kill) Teruko's body, she is elegant, poised, and radiates the same gentle kindness that Teruko possesses. Her love of all things Mortal causes her to form close bonds with everyone she can.

Henshin Item and Description: Illumina transforms using a brooch formed by a many-pointed star (four larger primary points that point N, S, E and W, and one smaller point between each large point), a pale sapphire cabochon, and the symbol of Illumina, which is a silver crescent with three raindrops hanging below it. (the magical symbol for Blessings). She wears it pinned to her dress or on a necklace if she's wearing more casual clothing.
Henshin Phrase: Illumina Angelic Power, Make Up!
Henshin Description: Teruko/Illuminis places (or passes) her hand over the brooch, and the cabochon begins to glow. She lifts it up, and ribbons if pale blue, teal, and white stream from it to wrap around her body, forming the shape of a cocoon. The light explodes away from her, briefly forming a pair of wings made of pale blue light at her back, which fade away. Her uniform is then revealed, and she is fully transformed. Her Tier only appears when she needs it and is not present when she transforms. Her "final pose" is essentially just her standing there, arms slightly away from her sides, one foot in front of the other (most likely her right foot in front of the left).

Weapon and Description: Blue Angel Tier. A short staff (almost a quarter-staff) with a silver handle, a teal gem on the base, and a blue, smooth heart-shaped sapphire encased in silver on the tip. It is topped with a silver six-pointed star, and a small silver moon with another pale sapphire cabochon with white wings extended from it is at the base of the heart. The top can be detached at the base of this heart and removed from the staff.
Attack Names and Descriptions: Angelic Illumination Illumina spins her Tier, and light begins to gather within the heart-shaped sapphire at the top. Once it begins to emit a white-hot light, she thrusts it out straight up in front of her, holding the staff vertically in one hand, the other placed above her head, below the energy. Rather than shooting out as one may expect, the energy leaves the staff as ribbons of teal and blue energy, which either braid together in the air and fire toward the enemy to destroy it, wrap around the enemy to contain it, or fill the air around Illumina to form a small dome-shaped shield of braided energy. The shield is extremely weak and can only withstand minor attacks.

Guardian Name and Description: Evangelion is a silvery white cat with pale blue eyes with subtle green and purple overtones. He has come to SMV, having lost patience with Illumina, having expected for her to send for him.  He is capable of taking human form, but will not, as his purpose is to serve as a companion and comfort to Illumina. He feels taking human form would be distracting from this.  

Other Information:

Illumina's team is not currently with her. Sailor Dream, Sailor Rhapsody, Sailor Devil, and Sailor Zero are all back home living normal lives, and will not come to SMV unless Illumina asks for them.

Civilian Life
Teruko spends a lot of time in the Crystal Garden, and can be seen visiting the library at times. She is also seen with Maeve lately and is working on joining a band with the plucky girl.
