SMV - Jan/Feb Prompt - Teruko - Dem ValentinezTeruko slowly shut the door after Alexis walked away. Alexis. It had been over a month since the night she found him asleep on her couch after the Sirens, sans Amelia, had crashed her otherwise small gathering and turned it into a party. Over a month since he began making awkward, presumably drunken advances, followed by a sudden and very unexpected - and far too enjoyable - kiss. But the hurt in his eyes as she asked him to go... The fierce protectiveness when Tenebris - or Anscom, she supposed - showed up... He remembered her sto
SMV General/Entrance - Guardian of the HeartThe morning after the Christmas party, Teruko did not leave her room. She only climbed out of bed to take care of her personal necessities, then crawled back into bed. Seeing him - exactly as he had looked after she had defeated him, with the negatively charged power of Dark Legion pulled out of him, the curse shattered - caused Illuminis to stir inside of her mind. Her heart ached and shrank back in equal measure, Teruko herself terrified and confused, Illuminis longing and joyful to see he had been reborn after all. Turning a corner, he nearly ran straight into a short girl with medium brown hair in a punkish style, a long braid swinging behind her. Her clothes screamed "punk", but her face was sweet. He tried to come to a full stop, hoping he would avoid the collision.
Maeve trotted down the path near the gardens, her earbuds firmly tucked into her ears and blasting a Nightwish song-- If only more bands had operatic sopranos as their lead singers!-- and was firmly lost in her own world of music. She

"So... you're saying there is now going to be a Christmas party instead of just the cookies?" he asked, offering a half-smile. "Well, this is certainly going to be a far more lively evening than I expected."
"I'm sorry," Teruko replied, looking downcast. She hung her head.
"Teruko, he's excited," Keri responded, shaking her head and smacking Nick lightly on the shoulder. She set a bowl of sugar onto the kitchen island. It had mysteriously appeared when Teruko realized she needed more counter space. There was still room for the table, and the island offered a place to store more pots, pans, and offered a lip that acted as a breakfast nook. Two more elegant chairs had appeared as well, these ones taller to allow for sitting at the counter. "You have no reason to be sorry."
